The cause of stress in your life can be confusing. You are told that life is stressful. Which parts of life are the cause of your stress?
All parts of life are stressful
The causes of stress are numerous. You tend to look at the emotional parts of life as the cause of stress. Sure, emotional stresses are there, but there are many other causes of stress.
Self-esteem is a major factor in stress. The causes of stress are more linked to how you cope than to the severity of stress. Improving
self-esteem
goes along way to helping eliminate the causes of stress.

of stress are the least obvious. The
main cause
of stress will astound you. Most of you are aware that stress affects you; you just don’t know where it comes from.
The causes of stresses can be categorized as follows...
- Emotional Stresses
- The emotional stresses are the areas you notice most. Emotional stresses are common and as a result you believe these are the main cause of your ill health.
- Emotional stresses can come from home, relationships, and performance levels, deadlines at work, the boss and many other areas.
- Physical Stresses
- As most adults are physically working hard, physical stresses are common. You lift, bend and stretch, have falls and bumps, and then go and play sport that adds physical stress to your body.
- Gravity is your biggest physical stress. You constantly sit or stand in the day. It is the stress that makes you closer to the ground as you age – yes, you shrink as you get older. It also causes the many joint changes that create pain and fatigue in your older years.
- Environmental Stress
- Your environment surrounding you is also a large cause of stress. From the noise at work and home, to pollution in your air, from the chemicals in food, to unclean water. Your environment causes a lot of stress on the body.
- Energetic Stress
- Any stress that lowers your energy levels is an energetic stress. Basically all stress affects your energy levels. Once your energy drops, your ability to deal with all stress suffers. Stress then becomes more intense.
- Health Stress
- Your personal health is also a stress cause. Not just the worries of how good your health is, or how long will we live for. If your health is low then the effects of stress are greater.
- Poor health allows infections, allergies, bowel and respiratory problems and other health issue to occur. This reduces your ability to deal with stress further.
- Poor health causes stress, you tend to worry about your health, and you then tend to deal poorly with all stress, making stresses larger.
There are many other causes of stresses. From general classifications above, to the smaller refined stresses such as grief, anger etc.
All of life is stressful. It is just a matter of degree that counts.
If your ability to deal with stress was higher, the cause of stress would be irrelevant. If stress didn’t affect you, then stress wouldn’t count. Improving your
ability to deal
with stress neutralizes all the causes of stresses out there.
The causes of stresses in your life are numerous. Being healthy, energetic and having an ability to deal with and prevent stress is the key. Life is full of stress; remove the cause by improving our resistance … to all stress.
