Your child needs your help ... and fast!


Child and Stresses ... two words that shouldn't go together. Today they do!

You live in a world where your child and the stresses around them are getting worse. Stresses are increasing and children's health decreasing. The health of a child and stress relief for them needs to improve.

You accept that your children are happy, content and healthy. But you live in a world where health is declining in children and stresses are increasing.

What can you do? How can you make life happier and eaier for the person you care about most ... your child.



What Stresses affect your children?

... you will be surprised at what they are

There are many stresses around children that affect their general and emotional health. Some you are aware of and some you didn't even realized existed...


  1. Parents ... yes parents cause stress on children. If parents are stressed and tired, or unhealthy this then affects your children. They become unsettled, tired and grumpy, have poor sleep and become unwell.

    If parents are less stressed and healthier then children follow this same pattern.


  2. Television ... children can watch too much television. Programs are violent, exciting and stimulating, but all of them change the brain and how it looks at life and stresses. If children watch television then balance is needed with outdoor activities, children are always calmer and more content if balance is gained. Television is part of their lives, outdoor activities should be part of their lives also...balance.


  3. Computers ... like television, computers create the same stress. Worse at times as playing a computer game becomes addictive. They just want to finish that next stage of the game, then the next and next etc. One hour play on a computer can turn into 4 or 5 hours easily. As with television, computer playing needs the balance with outdoor activity or at least time away from any screen.

    Please note: it is not just the activity of watching TV or being on a computer. The screen is a flickering light bulb - this irritates and creates an adrenalin rush for children. This turns the child into an unsettled (at times angry) and uncooperative child. Just from looking at a light bulb ... try it yourself ... look up at your nearest light bulb for 10 minutes and see how you feel.

  4. School ... children are at school 5 days a week. Pressures on them to succeed earlier and earlier are common. Spelling quizzes, sports teams, academics in general are more pressurized. The numbers of children in a class, the pressures on teachers all play a large part in a child's stress levels.


  5. Peer pressure ... it happens in children today commonly. Wearing the right labels, who has the latest cell phone, how late you stay up at night, what computer game you have etc.

    You live in a highly commercial world, children live there too. Most television programs and adverts are geared at children to encourage them or their parents to buy. The pressures just keep climbing.




How can You Help?

... and help before it is too late

So the causes of stress in children are changing constantly. The best and most effective way to address the health of a child and stresses they suffer, is to create a balance.

Balance in all areas of life. At school, having a mental health day every now and then can take a lot of pressure off a child.

Balance at home, where you regulate the amount of television and computer time with outdoor or indoor activities. Have toys and games from the parents childhood, they still apply and children still love them. Board games, cards games or just kicking a ball around.



Play with your children is the biggest way to reduce stress ... for them and you.


Children grow up quickly; you will miss it if you aren't careful. Learn to play more, relax and chat with your children, and generally have more time with your children. After all that is why you had them... to watch and help them grow.

Children learn from their parents and parents should learn from their children. Parents teach children how to adapt and grow with life, gaining wisdom and knowledge. Children teach their parents to play more, have more fun and not take life too seriously.

The health of a child and stresses they suffer is an important and essential issue. Teaching children simple techniques they can do to help increase confidence, improve health, remove stress and increase their energy is best. They need these techniques now so that life becomes like it was meant to be... fun and happy.

It is easy for a child and stresses they suffer from to improve, simply and easily. As the saying goes 'live life through the eyes of a child'... life should be fun, rewarding and stimulating, not stressful... for children and parents.
