Severe Depression

Don’t worry there is help … and you can do it!

Are you suffering from severe depression? Does life seem like it’s on top of you every moment of the day? Would you like to feel relaxed, happy and at ease?

Depression is debilitating at times. But do you actually know if your depression is severe, or not?

There is no way you can test it to see how severe your depression is. Each of you feels different to another. What is severe for you may be moderate for someone else.

But the most important thing is this

You are right! It is your feelings and emotions, and no matter whether you believe you have severe depression ort not, it shouldn’t be there. You may have been told your depression is not severe, it feels that way for you.

By the nature of the term ‘severe depression’ a few things are believed to happen commonly. You may have:

  • A Depressed mood, or
  • Feelings of overwhelming sadness and/or fear, or the seeming inability to feel emotion (emptiness).
  • A decrease in the amount of interest or pleasure in all, or almost all, daily activities.
  • Changing appetite and marked weight gain or loss.
  • Disturbed sleep patterns, such as insomnia, loss of REM sleep, or excessive sleep.
  • You may lose physical function or just feel agitated every day.
  • You will have Fatigue, mental or physical, or a complete loss of energy.
  • Intense feelings of guilt, helplessness, hopelessness, worthlessness, isolation/loneliness and/or anxiety.
  • Trouble concentrating, keeping focus or making decisions or a generalized slowing and obtunding of cognition, including memory.
  • Recurrent thoughts of death (not just fear of dying), desire to just "lay down and die" or "stop breathing", recurrent suicidal ideation without a specific plan, or a suicide attempt or a specific plan for committing suicide.
  • Feeling and/or fear of being abandoned by those close to one. The big thing is not the emotions above, but how long they happen. For severe depression to occur, the medical view is that the symptoms above last for 2 weeks or more.

What can you do?

The good news is this …

Whether you have severe depression or are just feeling depressed the treatment is the same. For severe depression it just takes a little longer to feel 100%.

By treatment I don’t mean medication. Medication is there to help your symptoms … the actual feelings you have. Treatment means to eliminate your depression and its’ cause.

Medication and most herbs will not eliminate your severe depression. They help control the symptoms.

Treatment means eliminating the underlying cause of your severe depression. You need to reprogram your mind so the depressive feelings and emotions disappear and stay gone.

Your mind is the cause of your severe depression. It has learnt to release chemical from your brain creating the depressive emotions. These chemicals are released in times of stress … whether the stress is minor or major.

Your mind has learnt to over-react to the day to day stresses. This has lead into your severe depression state. To change thins you need to reprogram your mind to release good chemicals in times of stress. The brain chemistry, if working correctly, will create a feeling of excitement or a state of readiness in the times of stress. At present your brain releases chemicals that allow you to collapse and become down and depressed.

To reprogram your mind, you need to use techniques (and more than just one) to change how your mind and body function. These techniques have been around for hundreds of years, and are now here for you to use …

Finally … the ancient, natural and proven ways to eliminate your depression

In only minutes each day … habits are changed … and you feel happy again!
