A stress management technique needs to be individual, for a child, adolescent or adult. What is best at work will be different to home... should you manage stress or relieve stress?

The difference between a stress management technique and a stress relief technique is timing. A technique for stress management is not just relieving stress, it is preventing stress returning. A stress relief technique is just removing stress.


Managing stress is the art of using techniques to remove and prevent stress.

Most people are under stress. Severe, moderate or minor, but stress is almost constant. We suffer from gravity to work pressures, from relationship issues to pollution in your environment.

Any stress management technique needs to encompass all types of stress. If you don’t remove and prevent all types of stress, you will eventually return to poor health caused by stress.




How do you manage all your stresses?

Firstly you must have a plan of attack that suits you personally. How old you are, how you deal with stress, the volume of stress and the type of stress surrounding you …. all of these need to be addressed.

An approach to stress for a child is going to be different for an adult. Removing stress at work will not be the best for home.

Stress management is easy, especially if you suit it to your personal needs.

The techniques you use should be best for you. No one technique is best.

The approach to stress management is individual. Techniques need to suit your age and situation…


So no one technique is best. What you find simplest and best to manage stress can be different for the next person.

Stress management is a matter of looking at all the techniques and then using the best for you. Try to use techniques that are easy and fun to use.





Stress management and stress relief

To manage stress you must have … stress to manage.

This means you already are stressed. The best stress management techniques are those that stop stress affecting you, before stress arrives.

You can’t eliminate stress. Stress is all around you in many different forms. Avoiding stress is possible, eliminating stress is impossible.


To manage stress you must…

  1. remove stress on your body (remove the effects of stress)
  2. build up a resistance to prevent stress affecting you.


The best thing to do is use techniques that accomplish both at the same time.

Traditionally stress management uses techniques to express your stress, to take a break, to analyze when you are stressed etc.

You have a busy, hectic and chaotic life. Working out these tasks is hard if not impossible at times. It also takes a huge effort and time to accomplish. Something you don’t always have.

A stress management technique can be simple, easy and fast to reduce stress. They can be used without analyzing where stress is, how big it is or where it came from.

Techniques should remove stress quickly and build up a resistance to prevent it affecting you in the future.

Simple, easy and fun.

Any stress management technique can be simply applied. Should be easy and quick to do. Create a fun, happy and content life. A life without stress is impossible; life without the ill-effects of stress is easy….
