Time Management

Yes.. I will now show you how to create a 28 hour day

Time Management ...... Wouldn't it be nice if we had 28 hours in a day? Four more hours to get all the tasks done, which need to be done. Why is it though that some of us run out of time, miss deadlines, yet others always seem to complete their tasks ahead of time?

Slow your mind and increase your time.

If your head is full of activity, if your brain is racing at 200 miles per hour, time disappears quickly. An erratic mind creates an erratic and chaotic day. Quieting the mind into simple tasks allows the time in the day to do all you want and more.

If you work out the actual time you spend doing all your daily activities, most of us would find we have about 3 or 4 hours in the day unaccounted for. We spend a lot of time in our heads doing activities, but not physically doing anything.

Slowing your mind, making it ordered, concise and task oriented will create more time in the day. Managing time is not just doing tasks in an orderly fashion; it is creating more time by removing stress.

Time management is easy if you know how.

Knowing how to quiet the mind is simple and easy to do. The brain quiets, you do a task well and then let it go. Going over a task, once it is completed, over and over is wasting time. Planning a meeting or task in your head, over and over is not necessary.

If your mind is quiet and ordered, setting a task is done once and done well, then forgotten. Most of you can drive to work, go through a particular task 10, 20 or more times before you get to work. Assessing all the possible variables that may happen, over and over. Just to find out when you get to work the problem wasn't a problem. What a waste of time and stress while driving, trying to solve something that didn't occur.

Sitting down, working out a task once, putting it on paper, then relaxing until you can physically deal with the task, is the easiest way to manage time. But first you need to train your brain to quiet down, and then apply time management skills to order your working life.

Time management is a two step process -

  1. Quiet the mind and relieve stress
  2. Learn time management skills.
Do that and gain that extra 3-4 hours in the day to relax and play. Time management can be a simple approach to reduce work stress, it's just a simple two step process.
