You can use yoga to relieve stress easily. Yoga has many physical, emotional and energy benefits. No matter how old you are, yoga is a simple way to relieve stress and promote health.

Fitness and size don't matter, because yoga is able to be adapted to suit you personally. There are many different techniques and forms of yoga that anyone can do. Using Yoga to relieve stress is simple, easy and for everyone...




Look back to your childhood...

Babies are born yogis, they can bend and flex into all kinds of positions with no effort. Injuries do not happen and they hold little or no tension in their muscles.

As we learn to deal with the physical and mental demands of life, we become less flexible ... physically and mentally. Life teaches us to tighten our joints and muscles, and also our minds.

Can you learn Yoga from a book?

Although this is not the best method to learn yoga, getting to a class is not always easy. There are time constraints on us, but constraints on when the classes are held. So a book, video, or DVD can be used to learn the basics.

The concept of 'no pain, no gain' is not used in yoga. Yoga should be done at an easy pace, creating no stress physically or mentally. Yoga is a stress relief activity, not a stress creating activity.

There are many forms of yoga you can use. Some simple, some more physical and some more mentally demanding. The easiest, and in my opinion the most beneficial, is the art of Mudra.

Mudra is hand yoga. A simple form of yoga to relieve stress, but used to create health, vitality and longevity.

Finger poses are seen throughout the east and west. Statues of Buddha, portrayals of Jesus and many other healers and prophets are shown using hand poses or ... Mudras. In the east they have been used and maintained, in the west largely forgotten.

Mudras were a way of communicating physically to others. We use a finger to point out danger, showing a palm to say stop, or a handshake to say hello. These are all forms of Mudras.

There are other mudras which help us communicate internally. To remove stress, promote health, become happy, calm and content.

Best of all, Mudras can be done at home, work or play. Nobody can see you use them, you don't need to sit a particular way, they can be done with eyes open or closed, you can do them while talking, walking or whenever.

They are a simple, easy and fast way to remove stress. You can use hand yoga to relieve stress anywhere and anytime. Mudras are simple and easy at removing stress and promoting health. Learning simple Mudra to relieve stress is easy and ... fast.
